ABOUT ME

Hello and welcome. I figure you want to know more about me. Well, I'm kind of an outdoorsy guy. I'm into mountain bikes, snowboarding, hiking 14ers, and backcountry camping. I have a 90 pound dog that goes everywere with me (except the bathroom). Oh, and I'm a bagpiper.

When I'm not outdoors you can find me working on any number of projects that span digital and print. I've been in the advertising and marketing industry for over 15 years, primarily working in visual design, UX/UI design, and art director roles. I’m currently the Senior Art Director and UX Designer at an agency that specializes in marketing for start-ups. As Senior Art Director, I oversee the design direction and branding on all client projects, and as lead UX Designer, I regularly conduct market research, build user personas, and develop sophisticated interfaces across the web and mobile space. Prior to that, I was the Design Director for a 400+ store retail franchise, where I established the core message and visual direction for all national B2C marketing campaigns, as well as all B2B marketing for franchise conventions and trade-show events. I have a passion for big ideas and smart user-centered design. I get a thrill from collaborating with small businesses and agencies to create brands that excitee and change lives... yes, I believe brands have the power to change lives.
