Project Description

Founded in 1914 in Manchester, Connecticut, by Scottish and Irish families, the Manchester Pipe Band is a competition- and performance- focused bagpipe band located in Manchester, Connecticut. Year-round programming sees the band traveling to local, regional, and international musical competitions, performance in local events and ceremonies, and an active instruction program which offers weekly tuition-free lessons in bagpiping and drumming. In an effort to build more engagement and participation, the band initiated a recruiting program. Designed elements include posters to targeted at both adult and youth talent, and a new responsive website. Additionally, the band celebrated it's 100th anniversary in 2014, which featured the designing of various collateral material and major modification of the band logo.
